Dear regular members be aware of new amendments to The K C S Act & Bye Law

• As per our Banks Bye Law Clause No 20(1) [yet to be approved by ROC] minimum services or facilities to be a availed by a member from our bank are:
  • Holding of minimum share capital of one hundred rupees.
  • Keeping minimum deposit of five hundred rupees or availing loan subject to limit fixed.
  • Operating minimum five times in his/her Current or Saving Bank account maintained in our bank.
• As per Sec17 of The Karnataka Cooperative Societies Act, a member who fails to transact minimum business or fails to utilize minimum services or facilities in a year continuously for a period of three years he/ she shall be deemed to have ceased to be a member.
• As per Sec 27A of The Karnataka Cooperative Societies Act, a member has to attend three out of last five annual general body meeting and has to utilize every year minimum services or facilities. If fails to do so, such member will loose right to vote for a period of three years.

Therefore members are requested to follow new provisions of The Karnataka Cooperative Societies Act and Bye Law of our bank to avoid cessation of membership and loosing of voting rights.

• Members are requested to submit your two recent passport size photos and obtained new Identity Card from bank.
• Members are requested to intimate to bank in the prescribed form any change in your address and nomination.
• Members are registered to obtain Share Certificates from bank's administrative office during working hours, if it is not obtained.
